very dark time and much of what I have gone through cannot even remotely come
close to how bad things were then. The things that the people were put through
during that period were horrific and scary and I could not even imagine having
to go through that. I cannot imagine living through a war let alone being
scared to leave the house because there was a possibility you could get thrown
into prison for doing next to nothing....
You did a really great job of explaining the terrors of living through the Islamic Revolution, and I completely agree with you in that I don't think I'd be able to go through it either. Your post really made me realize how much we have to be thankful for here in California. Great job, and I'm looking forward to reading your future posts!!
ReplyDeleteYour choice of simple words to explain a complex situation is really interesting and helps readers to better understand your point. This is similar to using comics to illustrate extremely horrific and graphic events, simultaneously allowing readers to understand what is being said. All in all nice job, and keep it up.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with how you described how bad things were in that area at the time. I don't think anything that we go through now could possibly compare to events that people experienced back then.
ReplyDeleteI also have a hard time imagining how difficult and emotionally taxing being in the center of a war must be. I feel the same way!
